The decoration in the cottage was simply exquisite. It was so tastefully done, with beautiful furniture and lovely artwork on the walls. The general areas of the cottage were also delightful, with cozy sitting areas and a charming dining room. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the cottage was. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on one level, making it easy for me to navigate and enjoy my stay.
I would have loved to see more assistance from the children working there in terms of organizing activities and outings for senior guests like myself.

Easter at this cottage was an amazing experience! The facilities provided were of top-notch quality, with high-spec amenities that exceeded my expectations. The cottage was tastefully decorated and surprisingly bigger than it looked. I loved the surroundings, especially the stunning entrance of trees. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the well-known areas of the region by car. Moreover, the host was warm and welcoming, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.
The only downside was the intermittent WiFi, but we managed to find spots where it worked well. Despite this minor inconvenience, it did not overshadow the overall excellent experience at the cottage.

The surrounding area was perfect for long walks in the countryside, and it provided a safe space for our children to play and run freely. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations. The pictures simply don't do it justice. The facilities were top-notch, and the decor was tastefully done. We felt so comfortable and at home with the new mattress, warm blankets, and all the amenities provided. The host, Carol, made us feel incredibly welcome and was there for any needs we had. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding, and we appreciated the attention to detail. Additionally, the location was ideal for exploring the Lake District and other nearby areas. Despite the intermittent WiFi, we managed just fine and found spots where it worked well. The only inconvenience was having to move our cars for scaffolding, which cut short our checkout time. However, we were allowed a late checkout upon request, which was appreciated. we highly recommend this beautiful cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
